An OLED microdisplay with half the size of a thumbnail, equipped with AR glasses, can move the world to your eyes with 4K clarity - Guozhao Optoelectronics Technology Co., LTD(GZOT), located in Jiangning District, Nanjing, was founded in 2019. With its leading technology in the field of micro display devices, it has became a national specialized and special new enterprise in just four years. In the words of Dr. Yang Jianbing, the general manager, "specialization and precision are not just slogan , aiming at the target , then persevering to do it, doing what others can't do".
More than a decade ago, Dr Yang Jianbing and his team started from the bottom of the IC design, " tens of millions of yuan is invested for the first chip, once the wafer trial fails, all the investment is wasted " Yang Jianbing said, relying on the repeated attempt and the accumulation of integrated circuit technology, two years later GZOT succeessfully lighten the first independently developed OLED micro display and surpassed the LCD technology to achieve intergenerational surpass, two years later after that, the oled micro display was quickly put into large scale engineering applications.
Dr Yang, The CEO of GZOT
OLED microdisplay is a combination of integrated circuit technology and display technology. What we have to do is seeing the big world through the small display, larger size of display does not mean higher resolution, what we do is to make the pixels smaller, and finally achieve the effect of near-eye display and see the same effect as the 70 inch screen.
The application of silicon based semiconductor technology to micro display products is the core competitiveness of GZOT. With the luminous layer as the core, a dozen layers of different materials are superimposed to press into an organic luminous film, the thickness of which is close to one-thousandth of a human hair. The resulting micro OLED display has the advantages of high integration, low power consumption and small size, which has much better performance than traditional LCD displays.
